Created by Jon Abson, Real Kingdoms is an immersive real life fantasy adventure for children from 6 to 14.

In Real Kingdoms, Jon has created a unique and highly regarded educational resource and provider. Here primary school children come and experience life through the ages, from Stone Age to Vikings.

Initially working with children as a qualified secondary school teacher, Jon has become an outdoor specialist education provider for the past 15 years. Working with children of all ages, and different social and special educational needs.

Real Kingdoms have created fun and exciting adventure days at weekends and amazing warrior camps designed to give working parents the flexibility and choice to drop off their children during the school holidays.

The children create a character for themselves and take part in a series of mini adventures throughout the year, helping them to become immersed and invested in the Real kingdoms world.

The goal for the adventure days is to encourage children to become creative and to use their imagination. This helps promote confidence whilst they take part in physical activities, inspiring the children to break away from their computer screens and enjoy spending time running around outdoors.

Dressed the part in chain-mail armour, children can choose to be a Warrior, fighting in large groups or maybe a Ranger acting as a scout or lone hunter. These aren’t the only choices there are though, healing or crafting are also available with full details in our guide book. There is even a Mage Class, although some other classes can also wield appropriate magic. Children are encouraged to create a character, the more involved the better, maybe even make their own weapons. Either way, Real Kingdoms gives children a safe environment in which to explore a new world and have fun.
